how'm eye doing?

So, a few of the scene/plays are edited. A few are only just begun - larger stories loom. And few suck totally. so there. trying.

Exercising

There have been a lot of stories told in this here apartment the last few days. I have a visitor who is a champion storyteller. He wold make a good muse if he only didn't insist on artistic control. I am hard pressed to repeat one these stories. The stories are so bound with the storyteller, as if resistant to another's telling.

Perhaps that is the case with all stories. They are tied up with the teller or [insert Irish word here] or [insert yiddish word here]. (I know these words. My memory is gone.)

I recognize what I read. What I like. I like movies and tee vee and books. I like non-fiction and biography. I read novels only if they are recommended. I skip the book reviews in the paper. Until recently. if I wanna write a book, I should stay on top of the game. I am secure knowing that I will never be a rock star, never reading concert reviews. Theater reviews are good for the anger they incite in me every time. Theater Reviewer Asshole Syndrome is conveniently displayed in their columns. 'Cause, really, all reviewers do is make theater seem boring.

Where's my muse?

She might be swimming around the bottles of beer on the counter. I should probably take a nap. I wonder where the atom bomb is hidden.

How are you? i am currently looking for my muse. i left her around here somewhere. She might be in one of the medicine bottles. She wasn't in the coffee.

Here's mom when she was 17. She had a gap tooth. So cute. She musta "fixed" it. Dad found the pic and adores it. So do I. She looks pretty much the same except for the age lines and the Jersey hair.

Dad never lived it Brooklyn. He's a Long Island kid who says he's a New Yorker. Yeah, one of them. He confessed the first a month agao. The other day, I found out he was actually born in Manhattan and got his correct horoscope. Wow.

So this one's for Dad. The greatest Bullshit Artist of Them All. The Dreamer.

Yesterday was a riff on Jimbo, though the character bore no repemblance to the real Jimbo. Today, I'm gonna write about the mother and daughter. Also fictional. The first actually had three characters. I may develop only two today. I promise to de-Beckett myself. I was reminded of Henry miller and have made a mental note to try to and reconstrcut the pathos of the Crucuble, K? Miller fans? I will steal from the best. Dead guys and girls. Note: I tell you this. You take 2 words from me, you owe me some credit. I believe in the honor system. Everything I publish on the web, i consider a copyrighted by the nature of the beast. (I can't wait for the Law drama.)

Uh. I was inspired by the play a day being produced at the Public. The Kennedy Center can more fiscally daring than a Spike Lee and produce an unknown.... Me. Or a small independent production company can be as daring as a Joe Papp and just throw [strike out] produce them for the love of the art.

Why the pic? It's my bum disease, silly.

Good question. My back was in "good shape" at the time that photo was taken.

I was also recording the surreal history of my disease, titled, "Mozass."

My lower backs juts out, so we joke that I am sticking out my bum. Done.

Crying in Fear

Don't people usually fear what they most desire. Sure, I want 1200 bucks in my pocket today, but then I am OBLIGED.

The Stiff Lady has not been feeling well. No, sirree. Better this week. But I had a "time of it" this fall. Took a round of prednisone.

Now I am crashing, couch surfing, ??, in way the fuck-out Brooklyn because I can not afford to live in my cozy warm pad.
